We work alongside Fire Risk Assessors, Chartered Building Surveyors and Fire Engineers to access any areas of buildings they
need to see causing minimal disruption to building owners and residents.
WHY
In order for building owners to comply with their duties, it may be necessary for internal intrusive survey works to be undertaken to
inspect key internal firestopping and compartmentation elements as part of the Fire Risk Assessment.
HOW
Our contractors will remove the internal wall lining to permit the surveyor to inspect. We are used to working with a variety of materials
and internal finishes in order for these invasive survey works to be completed as efficiently as possible, causing minimal disruption to the
building fabric and the occupants. Once the surveyor has inspected the relevant construction detail, we then reinstate the internal wall
lining, including any substrate and apply a decorative finish to match the existing. RSA pride ourselves in ensuring the reinstatement
works are completed to the highest possible standards.
All work is carried out by licenced tradesmen who specialise in intrusive survey works.
RSA are also experienced in using a borescope in order to undertake internal survey works in scenarios where any potential disruption
must be kept to an absolute minimum, or where the internal wall fabric simply cannot be removed.
